Brush your Invisalign trays every time you brush your teeth. You can also soak the trays periodically in a glass of water with a denture-cleaning tablet (Polident or Efferdent, for example). Be sure not to place these in hot water as it can distort the appliance.
There really are no food restrictions as the Invisalign trays are removed for eating and drinking (one of the many perks!). It is extremely important to brush your teeth prior to re-insertion of the aligner in order to maintain proper oral hygiene and prevent sugar and food particles from getting trapped underneath the tray.
